Torreys Peak 14,267’

Hi There!! Okay, so we have done this peak before... In fact, it was the second peak we ever climbed together like 3 years ago... But this time, we took a different route that incorporated more climbing than hiking. It was pretty fun! The route is called the Kelso ridge, and this first shot is looking back down on the ridge from where we started. We came up the ridge at about the middle of this picture and then, started hiking up. This is just another view of the ridge from a different area.
This picture was taken from near the top at the "knife edge". It's not sharp, though :)!

So, this is me near the knife edge.
HI!!! Don't I look cool???
So, as you can see, there are plenty of people around. The white rock is the last "climbing" before you get to the top. Yes, the top is there on the left. Another view.....
Here's another closeup of me.
This picture is taken from the top of Torreys Peak looking at Grays Peak (another 14er) that we did about 3 years ago when we first did Torreys. We won't be doing it again today. We've done it, and the route is not as exciting as the one we just did. Plus, TONS of people do these 2 mountains, so it's a major traffic jam!! If you click on this picture to make it bigger, you can see all the little stick people standing at the top!!
So, here we are at the top!!
On our way down, we spotted these mountain goats in the valley. NEAT!!
So, this is taken from the saddle between Grays and Torreys. Torreys Peak is on the left, and the ridge that we hiked up.
Another view of that ridge.
This was actually the first picture we took when starting the hike. That is Torrey's in the background and the Kelso ridge we climbed/hiked.
Yes, I know these are out of order, but here is another picture of me climbing up near the top. Well, until next weekend..... love and peace to all :)!
