Today marked our first training hike for the mountain hiking/scrambling/climbing season! We have done this peak several times before (search south boulder and you can see pics from last year). We are starting early this year as we plan to do some snow hikes since for some mountains, hiking in the snow is actually safer and easier!!
This time South Boulder was snow covered, so it was pretty neat to see how different it looked from last summer. I didn't bring the camera. I was going to take a few pics with my phone of the snow covered peak, but it was windy and cold, so once we got to the top, we just came back down!
